Pastoral Search Committee Announced
The Pastoral Search Committee members were announced last Sunday during the Church Worship Service. Members participated in a
touching Commissioning Service in which they recited a covenant to perform faithfully the vital task of searching for our new pastor.
The members are: T. Bubba Betchol, Ellen Blaise, Chrissy Cook, Isabelle Fuller, Jim Hobbs, Scott Neal, Wanda Radcliff,
Sheila Speirs and Jackie Trout. Dr. Mike Plunkett is the moderator, ex officio.
The Church Council would like to thank everyone who volunteered
or nominated someone to participate.
Flu Shots
The Santa Rosa County Health Department has the H1N1 vaccine available to anyone at no charge. The seasonal flu vaccine is
available for $20 for ages 3 years and up. Office hours are Monday through Friday
8 a.m. - 7 p.m. and on Saturday 8 a.m. - 12 noon.
Less busy times are between 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Womens' Bible Study
A Womens' Bible Study called "Believing God" will begin Tuesday, January 5, 2010, from 6-8 pm in the Church Beach House.
This is a 10 week Bible study written and lead by Beth Moore, an international, nondenominational Bible scholar.
All women are encouraged to participate in this enlightening study and uplifting fellowship. If you would like to be a part
of the study and order a workbook or if you have a question, please feel free to contact Sherry Hobbs at 916-4338.
The Beach Church Women
Our Church history tells us that in past years a group of ladies met for fellowship, but
disbanded because of a hurricane... It is time for the Women of the Church to come together again.
All Women (of all ages) of the Pensacola Beach Church are invited to meet for fun and fellowship on the 2nd Wednesday of each month
from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a sack lunch. Drinks will be served.
From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., the Crafty Ladies will meet.
So, stay and create some fun craft projects!
