Disaster Ministries Sunday August 22nd
August 22nd is designated Disaster Ministries Sunday across Florida by the FL UCC. We will conduct a sunset service on Casino Beach at 7:00 p.m.
The theme of the service will be the oil spill disaster. Everyone from all denominations are invited to join us on the beach
for worship, and prayer for healing from the disasterous effect the oil spill has had on our community, its families, and the environment.
Vacation Bible School Makes a Splash!
Our Vacation Bible School was a huge success with lots of kids and fun. Thanks to all the volunteers who made it possible!

Interim Pastor
As most of you are aware, the new pastor selection process has taken longer than anticipated. As a result, Rev. Earl Keirstead
has reported as our Interim Pastor. "Earl", as he likes to be called, comes to us from Cape Coral, FL where he retired after serving as minister of First Congregational United
Church of Christ in Bristol, CT for 22 years. He recently served as interim minister at the Faith United Church of Christ in Bradenton,
FL. Earl received an Associate Degree in Accounting from Bentley College in 1962, a Bachelors from Marietta College in 1966, and a Masters of Divinity degree
from Andover Newton Theological School in 1970.
We welcome Pastor Earl to our church family!
